New Flight date for youth ages 15-18 for Winter Flights for 2012! On February 18-20, 2012
Boys Flight #14: February 18-20, 2012:will be held at the same location, under the care of Norb Feust as Lay Director and Pastor Carol Sierk as Spiritual Director.
Our location for this event will be the Batavia 1st UMC, on Lewis-ton Rd, Batavia, NY
Chrysalis Big House
Big House is the term used for the gathering of youth that have already attended a Chrysalis Flight. We assist in set up at the facility, located near the church where the Flight is taking place, on the same weekends as both the Girl’s and Boy’s Flights. There are adult chaperones that stay at the Big House and all transportation is by a licensed driver over the age of 25 unless you bring your own vehicle. You may drive your own vehicle but CANNOT transport others because of insurance coverage. ( More Info )
- We come together for many reasons
- Help the Team that is on the Flight
- Work with the kitchen in some food prep, table setting, serving and clean-up
- We attend all the special services throughout the weekend
- Provide the “entertainment” after the special dinner, before Candlelight service
- Play games
- Sing and Worship and Pray
- Have devotion, study, and discussion times
- Reconnect with Chrysalis and Emmaus friends
